Sikkah for Corporate
Terms of Service for business customers
These terms apply when your company books event services through Sikkah for Corporate. In these terms, you means the business customer placing the booking and Sikkah means the operator of the Sikkah marketplace.

1. About these terms
By placing a booking, or by ticking the terms box at checkout, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation and confirm that you are authorised to do so. You may record a PO reference on the booking. It appears on your documents but does not change these terms.
2. Booking
A booking is your order for one or more vendor services for a named event on a named date. You are responsible for the accuracy of the event details you give: the date, start time, venue, access notes, headcount and the on site contact. Vendors plan and price from those details, and a change after booking may not be possible or may carry a cost.
A booking exists once payment is received by card. It is not confirmed until each vendor has confirmed, as set out in section 4. Dates are never held without payment.
3. Quotations and prices
A quotation is valid for 7 days from the date it is issued, after which it may be reissued at the vendors' current prices. Prices are confirmed at the moment of booking: the total you pay is the total shown at checkout in UAE dirhams, including any delivery fee and VAT where applicable.
4. Vendor confirmation, within 24 hours
Each vendor on your booking confirms within 24 hours of payment. Until then that line shows as awaiting confirmation. If a vendor declines, or does not confirm in time, that line is refunded in full to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days, and Sikkah offers you a swap to a comparable vendor for the same date. The rest of your booking is unaffected.
5. Cancellation, the 48 hour rule
You can cancel a booking free of charge until 48 hours before the event start time. The full amount is refunded and a credit note is issued. Inside 48 hours of the event start, the booking is non refundable.
Cancellation is done from your dashboard by the person who booked, and requires typing the booking reference to confirm. The deadline for each booking is shown on the booking page.
6. Payment
Payment is by card, through a Stripe hosted payment page. Sikkah never sees or stores your card number. Card payments are available for bookings up to AED 50,000; for a larger order, contact Sikkah and we arrange it with you. Sikkah does not hold dates against a pending payment.
7. Documents
Sikkah issues a quotation when you request one, a receipt when payment is received, and a credit note when a paid booking is cancelled or a line is refunded. Documents are available in your dashboard and are sent to the documents email on your company profile. Sikkah does not issue an invoice for VAT purposes; the vendor is the supplier of the service and any tax document for the service itself comes from the vendor.
8. Sikkah's responsibilities
As the marketplace operator, Sikkah:
- reviews vendors before they are listed and removes vendors whose standards slip
- collects payment for the booking and holds the booking record
- issues the quotation, receipt and credit note
- relays messages between you and your vendors, and keeps that record
- arranges a swap or a refund when a vendor declines or cannot deliver
Sikkah is not the provider of the service and does not prepare, transport or deliver it. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sikkah's total liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, and Sikkah is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. The vendor's responsibilities
The vendor delivers the service as described on the package you booked, at the venue, on the date and at the start time in your event details, with the headcount and options you selected. The vendor holds responsibility for the quality of the service, for the conduct of their staff on site, and for any permits their activity requires. Each vendor has signed the Sikkah vendor agreement, which sets these standards.
10. Your responsibilities
When you book through Sikkah you agree to:
- give accurate event details and keep the on site contact reachable on the day
- arrange venue access, including any security pass the venue requires, in time for setup
- treat vendors and their staff with respect
- keep booking communication and payment inside Sikkah
- use Sikkah only for lawful purposes
11. Problems on the day
If something goes wrong at your event, tell Sikkah through the booking messages or by email as soon as you can, ideally while the vendor is still on site. Sikkah will look at what happened, talk to the vendor and reach a fair outcome, which may include a partial or full refund of that line. In deciding, Sikkah may rely on the booking record, including the messages exchanged in Sikkah.
12. Accounts and your team
The person who creates your organisation is its Owner. Owners can invite colleagues as Bookers or Viewers, change roles, and request deletion of the organisation. Every person with access is responsible for the actions taken under their own log in. Sikkah may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
13. Your data
Sikkah handles your information under the Privacy policy, which sets out what is stored, for how long, and what is shared with vendors.
14. Governing law
These terms and any booking made through Sikkah are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved between us.
15. Changes to these terms
Sikkah may update these terms. The date at the top changes when they do, and a meaningful change is announced by email to organisation owners. The terms shown at checkout are the ones that apply to that booking, and a copy of the text you accepted is kept with the booking.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@sikkah.ae. Questions about a specific booking can also go to hello@sikkah.ae.
